This year marks a major milestone for Barcelona Netball Club as we celebrate 10 fantastic years of sport, friendship, and community! To celebrate our tenth anniversary, we are thrilled to host the Netball España 2nd Annual Tournament right here in Catalonia on Saturday, 7 November 2026.
Founded in 2016 as a volunteer-run community club, Barcelona Netball Club has grown from humble beginnings into an established, vibrant hub running over 120 court sessions every year. Hosting the national tournament is the ultimate way to celebrate our journey alongside our members, volunteers, and the wider Spanish netball community.
Clubs and players from across Spain will gather for a full day of high-energy, competitive netball and community connection, helping showcase the growth of the sport across the country.
"Serving as host club for the 2nd Spanish National Torneo while celebrating our 10th anniversary is an immensely proud moment for our entire volunteer team," says Veronica Hull, Chair of Barcelona Netball Club. "Hosting this tournament means so much to all of us—it is an incredible opportunity to bring our whole community together, celebrate female leadership in grassroots sport, and put Catalonia firmly on the European netball map."
