Chair - Fizz
Background: In 2022, when she moved to Barcelona for work, she was looking for a way to settle in and make new friends. Having played netball socially before, joining the club was one of the first things she did to feel at home. What she found was so much more than just a way to meet people—she found a family. The warmth, camaraderie, and support from everyone at the club made her transition to a new city so much easier. She is so proud to be part of this amazing club and even more thrilled to be serving as Chair this season. She can't wait to see the big things they can accomplish together!

Vice Chair - Ebony
Background: Ebony is one of the club's longest-standing members, having lived in the city for the past 7 years. As a startup founder working in tech, she really values the diversity of the club and the different perspectives everyone brings. A trailblazer on the court, she holds the title of being the first C-level umpire to qualify in Spain and is also currently serving as the Umpiring Lead for the club. For her, the club has been a consistent part of her life in Barcelona, offering a great way to stay connected and get a good runaround with friends!

Player Development - Abbi
Background: Abbi has been living in Barcelona for the last 24 years, having moved here in August 2000. Because she arrived when she was just 16, she speaks Catalan and Spanish like a native! Netball was an absolute passion of hers in the UK, where she played County and Club level from a young age. However, after moving to Spain, she couldn't find any local clubs and basically gave up on the sport.
Luckily, she met some lovely members at a social gathering almost two years ago, and the rest is history! She comes from a seriously sporty family and was even a UK-qualified umpire at just 13 years old. When she’s not serving as our Lead Coach and Tournament Coordinator, she’s an entrepreneur running her own successful business. And while she’s a force on the court, she’ll be the first to admit she actually loves rugby even more than netball!
